Dan and his wife Terry planted Sonrise Chapel in Everett, Washington in 1986 where they continue to serve as senior pastors. In the past seven years God has miraculously manifested healings of all kinds at Sonrise. Among all the healed ailments: cancer, tumors, back problems and knee problems are healed for good! Below (bottom of page) are just a few specific people who have miraculous testimonies.
Recognized as an apostle and member of the International Coalition of Apostles, Dan has traveled the world helping plant and develop churches in many nations including India, South Africa, Uganda, Cuba, Israel, Poland and Russia. Dan is the state coordinator for the United States Apostolic Alliance with Dutch Sheets. He holds a master’s degree in theological studies from Bakke University, is on staff at Seattle Bible College and serves as ongoing advisor for Aglow International. Dan is the Chancellor at Wagner Leadership Institute-Seattle Campus, and has co-founded the Northwest New Wine Network, a monthly regional gathering of pastors, intercessors and leaders.
Course Description: This class offers a look at healing, miracles, signs and wonders in the Old Testament, the Gospels and the Book of Acts. Learn how God can work through you to use these gifts to benefit others. Impartation will be an integral part of the class, releasing students into this type of ministry. A public healing service will be held Friday evening as part of the class.

Clifford Johnson
At 14 years of age he was diagnosed with TMJ and lock jaw causing intense pain. He couldn’t open his mouth more than two fingers width. He took muscle relaxers and tried many doctors and treatments to help. Seeing a specialist at UW Med Ctr who tried to manipulate his jaw to relieve the pain they finally diagnosed that if wouldn’t go back, he would have to have surgery. He went to Entiat Youth Retreat and didn’t expect God to heal it – since he hadn’t experienced an intimate relationship with God at this point in his life. Pastor Dan had a word of knowledge that God wanted to heal someone’s jawbone. He knew it was for him. After Pastor Dan and a girl named Bekah Smith prayed, Clifford felt heat at the pain sight and his jaw instantaneously popped into place! His doctors measured his jaw after the healing and said there was a major difference! His doctor said there was no medical explanation for what took place. After the testimony was shared Clifford prayed for others and 7 more people were healed of jaw problems.
Paul Klumper – February 2004
Sept 2003 his kneecap kept on popping out for two years prior. He went to the doctor. They had x-rayed his knee and found that surgery was the only answer. When they operated they found that a small piece of his knee cartilage was missing – about the size of a dime. The doctor told Paul not to walk on his leg for three months after the surgery, and that he would need to heal before they performed more surgery to heal the cartilage problem. He had been praying in his secret place for God to heal him. He asked the Youth Group to pray. In February of 2004 – the day before his surgery was scheduled - he was on a high school retreat when God moved supernaturally. Everyone at the retreat surrounded him and prayed for him. He went into the hospital the next day and when the doctor noticed Paul was carrying a Bible, Paul told him he believed he was healed. The doctors went in to perform the surgery, and found a NEW piece of cartilage. The surgery was videotaped and the doctor was recorded looking around saying, “Amazing!” There are x-rays to prove that God had done a creative miracle! Diane Rogers Had cancer and went through chemo with a great prognosis and a clean slate of the cancer after 10 months. Then she found a lump in her abdomen. Both of her doctors confirmed the lump, and said it might be benign but there was no way to know until they removed it. She prayed that God would remove it completely before she was scheduled to have a biopsy. On the day of the biopsy the lump was no where to be found! It was completely gone!
Irma Venegas - December 2007
She suffered with a lifetime of affliction and pain with almost no immune system from birth. At 12 years she had a severe 70 deg scoliosis and was taken for a spinal fusion. She was body casted for a year – and then 6 more months in a plastic body cast. Her health worsened. She had endometrioses and infertility, as well as a ruptured ovary and arthritis. In an effort to have a child she had 12 abdominal surgeries. She was able to have one child, but was still very ill. After 6 more surgeries she was diagnosed with Sjogren’s Syndrome and Systemic Lupus. Her blood in jeopardy and she was immediately hospitalized. She had so much inflammation everywhere she was treated with chemotherapy drugs. She continued to get worse through the next several years withh many more hospitalizations, including intensive care stays and kidney problems. Her bladder function ceased completely – she had to catheterize herself several times a day just to go to the bathroom. Dr. Richard Jimenez was concerned about scarring in her organs, lungs, spinal chord and brain. She couldn’t breathe without severe pain – and had a catheter directly into her heart loaded with opiates to kill the pain. She was destitute, homeless and broke in the middle of the night just before Christmas. After getting a virus that lodged in her central nervous system, she experienced the most intense pain of her entire life. Doctors sent her home thinking she might die – but since it was a virus there was no treatment. After the entire church prayed for her and Pastor Dan prayed she went into three days and three nights of her begging God to just be with her no matter what happened – she thought she would die or be healed and either way be out of her pain. She was healed! Irma was able to breathe and her pain was gone! She couldn’t even remember a time in her life when she hadn’t felt pain. Lumps disappeared and she could feel restoration a hope for a real future! She went back to Dr. Jimenez and told him of her healing! He said in the history of his practice he had never seen anything like it – so immediate and so quick! They still keep in touch to this day.
